This module on Fire Alarm System Devices takes a look at the various components attached to an Automatic Fire Alarm System.
We will cover the types of Initiating and Notification Devices which work together to provide early warning of a fire event to protect both lives and property.
This module includes a look at Smoke and Heat Detectors, Sprinkler Systems, Pull Stations and Fire Alarm Control Panels.
After completing this module, you should be able to do the following:

Identify the various types of Initiating and Notification devices used in Fire Alarm Systems.

Understand the advantages gained by using different types of Smoke Detectors.
- Describe the relationship between Fire Alarm System Devices and the Fire Alarm Control Panel.
