NICET Level I: Interpreting the National Fire Alarm Code

This module focuses on NFPA 72: The National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code, which governs the installation of Automatic Fire Alarm Systems.
It is important to remember that protection requirements must be derived from applicable Building or Fire Codes and not NFPA 72.
After completing this module, you should be able to do the following:
- Understand key terms and phrases contained in NFPA 72.

Navigate through NFPA 72 using chapter and layout notations.
- Identify key chapters which were added to the 2010 edition of NFPA 72.
