Overview

PART A: An informative discussion with Bob DeLia, founder of FiberOptions, provides learners with a comparison between the features and applications of both fiber optics and co-axial cable transmission. Choosing the proper transmission equipment, equipment cost and review of applicable electrical standards, and a discussion of the future of fiber optics in the CCTV field is also included. A final assessment evaluates the learner’s comprehension of the course. This course takes approximately 60 - 90 minutes to complete.



PART B: This course introduces learners to additional video signal transmission such as co-axial, radio frequency, microwave, and 2-Wire. The course presents learners with the features, advantages, disadvantages, and usage of each type of transmission type followed by a final assessment to evaluate comprehension of content.
